In this 5 - day rodeo, a full schedule attendee will have earned their Competent Person Level certification for six highly hazardous topics. The rodeo provides the need in the field for enhanced knowledge and competency in these high hazard tasks. Our mission is to create more effective high function jobsites that run safely, through the curriculum, workshops, education, and trainers. Through this course, participants will have the knowledge to return to their jobsites more confident in performing competent person level duties, while identifying and communicating potential hazards.
This course teaches skills that one needs to know in order to provide immediate care for a suddenly ill or injured person until more advanced medical care arrives. The hands-on skills training provides knowledge and confidence needed to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, and how to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Successful attendees will receive a certificate valid for two years.
