This 8-hour Confined Space Competent Person (User) course prepares participants to safely and effectively perform work in confined spaces by providing in-depth training on all aspects of confined space entry. The course emphasizes the responsibilities and coordination among the entrant, attendant, and entry supervisor, along with a strong focus on practical application.
Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to build skills in atmospheric monitoring, hazard identification, ventilation setup, permit execution, and both planning and performing non-entry rescue procedures. By the end of the course, individuals will be capable of recognizing confined space risks and applying effective control measures in real work environments.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Define the roles and responsibilities of the entrant, attendant, and entry supervisor
- Identify common confined space hazards and develop appropriate control procedures
