The construction industry is facing a crisis that nobody wants to talk about: Suicide.

Question, Persuade, Refer, is suicide intervention training that helps attendees learn skills that could potentially save lives. Before dying by suicide, many people send warning signs that they are contemplating ending their own lives. As a person who may have contact with those considering suicide, your conversation with them can help save a life. Learn what to say and do to reduce the risk of a suicide attempt by offering meaningful emotional support while creating a safe path to recovery from a life-threatening crisis. This is an impactful training course and will include statistics from the construction industry. Each attendee receives a "certificate of completion" and a QPR booklet.

The speaker, Ryan Nesbit, co-founder of Alive & Running Iowa, lost his best friend to suicide at age 15 and then had his own suicidal ideations for about 15 years. Ryan has done training / presentations / keynotes for close to 700 different audiences.
